It is amazing how prevalent food allergies are these days. When I was growing up, it was rare to have a friend with severe food allergies, but today, food allergies are incredibly common!
I never want my kid’s friends to feel left out and be unable to enjoy a treat at my house, so I began experimenting with allergy-free desserts!

I like the term “mostly” plant-based, as it is less restrictive. It leaves some wiggle room for other foods to be included in moderation.
